Nitrogen and dry gas a gas that is found without condensates or other liquid hydrocarbonsare commonly used as immiscible gases in gas injection recovery. Immiscible gases, those that cannot mix with oil in a homogenous substance, are used to increase the pressure in the reservoir and push the oil out.
