Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) permit (Ref. MVN-2021-00270-EG) in December 2021, and the project is currently in the design/permitting phase of the USACE’s environmental review process. The Port purchased 1,200 acres of land in Violet in 2020 after an exhaustive site selection and feasibility studies process.
