Louisiana International Terminal Project Receives Federal Funding Boost

According to the 2023 State of the Port Address , the terminal is expected to generate 32,000 new jobs nationwide, 18,000 in Louisiana, and 4,300 in St. The Port purchased 1,200 acres of land in Violet in 2020 after an exhaustive site selection and feasibility studies process. Bernard Parish by 2050.
