Mahamudu Bawumia for the successful implementation of the Gold for Oil Policy, hailing it as a pivotal strategy that stabilized the local currency and alleviated fuel costs. He clarified that the Clerk of Parliament’s official residence, alleged to have been sold in 2019, was actually sold in 2015.
